The Shell SEC Administrator has started with the distribution of the eligible claims
The electronic distribution to investors who are eligible for the minimum distribution of $50 has started. During the next few weeks they will start with amounts higher than $50. The payments will go from ‘low’ to ‘high’. The larger part of the claimants eligible $50 have already received their payout, larger amounts will be paid out later. Might you not have received anything at the end of the year, contact the claim administrator *.The pro rata distribution amounts to about 3% of the eligible amount of damage, whereby the calculated compensations of less than $50 have been rounded up to $50. In total 310,000 claims have been submitted.
Return Check
A number of claimants have not yet sent in their banking coordinates to the Administrator. They will receive in first instance a check. The cashing of the check might become quite costly. Certainly in case of a small compensation a substantial part of the check can ‘melt away’. It is possible to receive the compensation as a deposit in a bank account. Please act as follows: -Download this form and fill it out. -Send the form and the check back to the SEC Claims Administrator. *For questions re: the distribution of the SEC claim claimants can call a toll free number 0800-022-8759 for assistance from (Dutch speaking) assistants of the claims administrator or via e-mail to: info@shellsecsettlement.com

Claim Royal Dutch/Shell Transport SEC
Op 3 december 2009 ben ik door de heer Han Smid geïnformeerd als volgt:
"De overboekingen voor goedgekeurde Shell-SEC claims zijn tijdelijk stop gezet door een gerechtshof dat een aantal bezwaren in behandeling heeft van mensen wier claim was afgewezen. De uitkomst hiervan bepaalt het preciese bedrag van de uitkering. Zodra dit probleem uit de weg is komt het versturen van cheques en de electronische overboekingen weer op gang. Vanwege het grote aantal claims zal het overboekings process enkele maanden in beslag nemen."

De SEC heeft me vanuit niets uitbetaald, terwijl het wel is ingediend. Onduidelijk allemaal, wat er loopt, wie er nog voor je opkomt, wat er nog loopt.

Net als Johan Kruijt heb ik een cheque van $50 ontvangen en hetzelfde bedrag overgehouden. Belachelijk ouderwets. Achteraf had ik mijn rekeningnummer door kunnen doorgeven, maar door een mail met juristen Engels is mijn dat ontgaan. Ik heb de formulieren van de Shell actie van de VEB ooit ingevuld. Begrijp ik het goed, dat ik weer formulieren kan invullen? Het is buitengewoon onduidelijk allemaal.

Ik heb destijds de wereld aan formulieren in moeten vullen en opsturen naar de USA. Die zouden ook voor de Europesche claim gelden.Ik heb trouens tot nu toe nog steeds geen cent ontvangen. Zeer vervelend vind ik trouwens ook dat alles in het Engels gebeurd en dat terwijl Shell toch ook een nederlands bedrijf is. Ook vind ik dat de VEB wel wat meer ondersteuning aan haar leden had mogen geven bij het doen van een beroep op de verschillende claims. Ik betaal mijn contributie toch niet alleen voor dat blad !

Van Royal Dutch/Shell heb ik een cheque ad $50 ontvangen; opbrengst E33,29, kosten E12,30, dus netto E21. Het is wel erg weinig, of moet ik denken: beter iets dan niets?
